Hey, We’re Hiring!

Construction Engineers

Kirsten and her team wanted a website management system they could manage in-house with a Content Management System (CMS).

Construction Engineers

Codelation has the expertise to conquer a web redesign with a combination of awesome tech skills and humor. They were a great fit with our staff from the beginning. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with daunting tasks and ask ourselves, ‘how do we start this?’ Codelation provided a road map and a plan, plus lots of encouragement.

For Construction Engineers, keeping customers happy has always been a top priority.

When Marketing Manager Kirsten Carolin reached out to our team and asked if we would help them build a new website — one that would be focused on their story and their customers — we were more than happy to help out.

Kirsten and her team wanted a website management system they could manage in-house with a Content Management System (CMS).

Problems

The Construction Engineers’ three main challenges with their old website were:

  • Not being able to easily make edits and updates in-house
  • Not being up to date with the evolution of mobile and other technologies
  • Not adequately telling the Construction Engineers story

According to Kirsten, Construction Engineers’ old website was “functional and basic.” In other words, the site was outdated, wasn’t optimized for mobile, nor did it have the CMS capabilities her team was looking for.

“We had bigger plans and ideas that our old website wasn’t able to help us with, like communicating effectively with current and potential clients and customers,” Kirsten says.

Moreover, according to Kirsten, the success of the construction industry (like most other industries) relies heavily on the customer experience and being able to develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. In other words, the new website needed to tell Construction Engineers’ story in a way that was real to the company’s mission, vision and values.

Solutions

We started working with Kirsten and her team to help build a foundation for a website that would serve their needs now, but also be adaptable to their needs in the future. We set out to solve some of these issues by:

  • Planning the foundation for the new website based on the company’s current and future goals
  • Building an easy-to-use CMS flexible enough to evolve with technology and trends
  • Designing an easy-to-navigate website that also tells the story of Construction Engineers

Outcomes

We provided Kirsten and her team with a new website that has the potential to grow as fast as their creativity allows.

“With a solid plan and the right guidance, Codelation helped us design a site that is flexible,” Kirsten says. “As technology advances, so should our website. We are confident that our site has a solid foundation and it can adapt as we change the way we tell our story.”

CMS superpowers

Literally any team member can go in and make updates to their website because of the custom CMS we built for them.

“From the smallest text change to uploading new project photos and news, we can now do this. In the past, we had to reach out to a web company to make updates, and that process cost us money and time. That may work for some small businesses, but not for us,” she says.

Strong story

We are very excited about the future. The construction industry is strong and will continue to thrive. But more and more, our success is based upon our ability to develop strong relationships with clients. Now our website tells our stories and the success stories of our clients. It reflects our brand.

Super fun process

Often, website design companies make the process of redesigning website unnecessarily complicated, stressful and confusing. But according to Kirsten, our team made everything easy and “surprisingly fun.”

“Codelation has the expertise to conquer a web redesign with a combination of awesome tech skills and humor. They were a great fit with our staff from the beginning. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with daunting tasks and ask ourselves, ‘how do we start this?’ Codelation provided a road map and a plan, plus lots of encouragement,” Kirsten says.
