My Ideal Tracker

Brilliant Software wanted to streamline body contouring offices with a tool that tracked patient data, fostered communication between the office and patients, and was able to clearly show patient improvement.

My Ideal Tracker

Dr. John knew firsthand the struggles these clinics had to deal with. My Ideal Tracker was built to be the solution.

Dr. John Schellenberg, founder of Brilliant Software and Doctor at One Light Chiropractic & Energy Medicine, saw his clinic needed some improvement when it came to how they handled red light therapy patients. He talked to some of his fellow doctor friends and observed that they were running into similar issues.

Brilliant Software wanted to streamline body contouring offices with a tool that tracked patient data, fostered communication between the office and patients, and was able to clearly show patient improvement.

Problems

My Ideal Tracker wanted to focus on alleviating these main challenges:

  • Getting the word out about the software to a specific market of clinicians
  • There was messiness in tracking patient data – from amount of purchased sessions to measurements from past sessions
  • Communication happening between clinicians and patients over phone, texts, and email were not HIPAA compliant
  • Patients and potential patients needed education on how red light therapy worked and motivation

According to Dr. John, there were no good solutions for his practice on the market. “In 2018, we added body contouring to the weight-loss side of my practice. That was awesome, but it brought with it a whole host of different challenges,” Dr. John said “I scoured the internet looking for software, and it wasn’t there, so we developed it.” He came to us with his idea and we started tackling the challenges and issues.

Solutions

We knew we’d need all hands on deck to get My Ideal Tracker across the finish line. Our software engineers, web development team, and marketing team all pitched in to solve some of these issues by:

  • Creating videos and a landing page to peak interest of potential users
  • Building forms for inputing patient data that calculate changes on their own
  • Creating a corresponding app for patients that hosts a HIPAA compliant messaging function
  • Fostering education of patients in their app and through an email campaign

Outcomes

We provided Dr. John with a robust app to help body conturing clinics across the country. With supporting landing pages, email campaign, and video work this app is set up to shine and catch the eyes of clinicians and patients alike.

Improved workflow

Red light therapy offices now have a super-powered way to keep track of clinical records with little effort. Before and after photos are now conveniently housed next to their corresponding date and measurements and there is no need to do math to calculate changes.

Dr. John knows this is nothing short of handy. “You can enter all the relevant measurements prior to using the device, and then immediately after. It will automatically calculate the inches lost,” he explains. This is something clinicians and patients alike love because they can see the change in measurements quickly after a session without doing calculations.

Encrypted and secure

Brilliant Software’s new app is super safe and HIPAA compliant- a must for any software being used in medical clinics. Health care organizations must follow HIPAA guidelines to protect privacy, security, and integrity of patient’s health information.

“One of the things that we found in our research, and even personally in practice, is patients would text us or email us, and that’s not HIPAA complaint,” Dr. John observed. “Because this platform is stored on our compliant server, all of the messaging is HIPAA compliant as well.” This is a major win to keep communication organized, as well as safe.
