INTRODUCTION

Transform Your Shopping Experience with Try It On!

Try It On is a Shopify application primarily used by boutiques and smaller retailers looking to cultivate a unique shopping experience for their customers. The plug-in gives online shoppers the ability to add clothing to their Try It On Dressing Room directly from a Shopify website’s existing catalog and schedule an appointment at the retailer's location to try on the clothing selected. The Shopify Retailer can customize their dressing rooms to suit different store locations best.

Main Goal

By working directly with Shopify (an eCommerce Platform), Codelation created both the frontend and backend scheduling design and functionality.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Codelation started by developing a set of brand guidelines for the Try It On Brand, including logo, color palette, fonts, etc. After the brand guidelines were established, the Codelation team dove into developing the plug-in’s backend. Apart from developing the functional application, the Codelation team collaborated with Try It On to create several supplementary features for the brand. These include personalized notifications for both the retailer and the customer, a dedicated Try It On website built on WordPress to promote the plugin, a brief video series demonstrating how to install and use the plugin on Shopify, and the creation of Shopify App assets to enable users to download the plugin from the Shopify App Store.

PROJECT CONCLUSION

Try It On is a fully functional plug-in that is now available for purchase from the Shopify App Store and is being utilized by multiple local boutiques. This plug-in fulfills its goal of helping small retailers and boutiques provide a unique shopping experience for their customers.
