The annual Red River Market is coming back to downtown Fargo starting July 10, 2021. Since its origin in 2015, the market’s purpose, according to its founders, has been to “create a space for all people to experience the joys of locally grown food.” Over the last six years, it has grown into something bigger than a community farmers market. Today, there are over 90 local farmers and makers providing fresh produce, flowers, bakery items, hot food, household items, work from local artists, and so much more. There are also free community programs held such as live music, cultural performances, cooking demonstrations, and children’s activities.
We love the Red River Market because it is a community of entrepreneurs. Each vendor has a passion for the goods or services they provide, so you’re getting an expert’s opinion when you make a purchase. They spend all year planning and perfecting their craft in preparation for the market. In turn, they create amazing products that draw the community together. By shopping locally at the Red River Market, you will not only get an amazing product and experience, but you’ll also be supporting local entrepreneurs. Some of our nerds’ favorite vendors are Windsor Waffles, Off The Deck Hot Sauce, Hairy Hippie Pickling Co., Uncle Charlie’s Gourmet Snacks, Baker’s Wagon, and Heart And Soul Community Cafe to name a few.
After a year of isolation and dreadful quarantine, it’s time to bring people back together and support our community. The Red River Market will be held every Saturday* from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from July 10, 2021 to October 30, 2021. The market will be held in Broadway Square, 201 Broadway N. in downtown Fargo.
*EXCEPT July 17, 2021. The market will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 due to the Downtown Fargo Street Fair.
Support the Fargo-Moorhead community and shop locally at the Red River Market this Saturday. Visit https://www.redriver.market/ to learn more. We hope to see you there!
